Biotech startup Cognito Therapeutics Inc. scientists are working to develop a treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. They recently received official licensing rights to the scientific discoveries of two Massachusetts Institute of Technology professors who used flickering LED lights at a specific frequency to substantially reduce beta amyloid plaque (a suspected leading contributor to Alzheimer’s).
