We are so very pleased to have found Bayshore. We moved my 96 Mother-in-law here 4 months ago. She has thrived in this environment.. She eats regular gourmet meals, is engaged in activities on an off site which has helped her in the transition. The Caregivers and Staff could not be a better fit for her. Feed back by Family Members is a priority of Bayshore. They have always taken our comments and suggestions to heart and the monthly meetings with family help Bayshore to address even the smallest of issues. As a family member, Bayshore provided the guidance, respect and empathy in making this decision for all of us. I have traveled from CA 2 times so far to visit my mother-in-law since she entered Bayshore. I am greeted and involved in her care on a continued basis. I recommend Bayshore to those family members facing this same situation with their loved ones.. It was a choice we had to make quickly and it was done without pressure. Thank you Bayshore.

My 90 year old mother was living at an independent living center in Naples, needed additional care and we had to move quickly. We looked at 6 different memory care facilities locally and Bayshore was in a class by itself. The Bayshore team was very responsive and very flexible to accommodate us. My mom has been there almost 2 months now and we couldn’t be happier. We know she is clean and safe. The staff is professional, caring and very friendly. The food is very good and there are plenty of activities for mom. The facilities are first class and I would recommend Bayshore with reservation.

I began looking for a memory care facility for my husband about six months before I thought I’d need it.  After researching many facilities near my home, a huge criteria, I narrowed my choice to 3 facilities. I decided on Bayshore based on the following:  the ratio of aides to residents, the activities provided, the age of the facility, the nursing care in place, the age of the resident and the size of the rooms for the price.  Moving my beloved husband at an early age is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I had been providing his total care for years and it proved too much for me. I couldn’t be more pleased with his residency at Bayshore.  The food verges on gourmet, with new items added monthly. It is served by one of the most efficient, kind and caring women I have seen in a facility of this nature. The activities are stimulating for many of the residents, even though my husband does not participate on a daily basis.  The certified health aides are outstanding.

They seem to really care about the people they are caring for and will inform me daily about how my husband has been doing.  They keep them clean and safe. I have heard several say how much they love their jobs. The nursing staff, on the premises at all times, are exemplar.  They monitor meds are always on alert for changing conditions in the patient’s health. There are doctors who come every week and check on all who need attention.  The housing department (maintenance, laundry, and cleaning) keep everything in top shape. Unlike some facilities, there is NO unpleasant odor anywhere. Feedback is accepted my management positively.  There are monthly meetings to voice concerns as well as accolades. Hospice and Alzheimer’s programs are welcomed monthly as well.

And finally, there is always a smiling, happy concierge to greet you and say goodbye.  They are two of the most positive women I have ever met. My husband’s neurologist thought Bayshore would be the best fit for him at his age, and I totally agree with him.  My mother was in a different memory care facility for three years. Even though she was much older, there is no comparison between what I had previously experienced and Bayshore Memory Care.  Thank you Bayshore for taking such good care of my husband.

My husband came to Bayshore Memory Care in June 2018. My wonderful daughter-in-law came from Indiana and we visited numerous places within 20 miles of Pine Ridge Road. Before she came she had been online and made contact with Bayshore. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and helpful. The first thing we noticed at Bayshore was there was NO ODOR! The community is nicely decorated and kept very clean. The executive staff are beyond nice. Everyone is very helpful and shows interest in not only the residents, but also the family members. They are always available to help or discuss any concerns the family may have. The activities person lines up different entertainers, parties and outings for the residents and families. Bayshore has the best nursing staff I have ever encountered. There are doctors that visit frequently and are available to meet with families for any questions. The nurses communicate to the doctors and family members any needs of the residents.

The food at Bayshore is excellent! They have a great Chef who has worked with me continuously to ensure that my husband is not served something he shouldn’t be because of his diet limitations. Bayshore has a great team – laundry, housekeeping and caregivers! I try to treat the caregivers how I would like to be treated if I was in their position. I have made friends with many of the caregivers and know all of them by first name. I always give them a kiss on the cheek and a hug. They are a wonderful group of people and I make sure to always thank them for their care. We (my husband and I) are VERY happy here. If you have a loved one that needs memory care – this is the place to be.

“Bayshore Memory Care is an exceptional home for your loved one who needs a high level of care because of memory issues and brain diseases. The building is fairly new, with a beautiful layout (a square) and a lovely courtyard garden in the middle so residents can go outdoors in a protected environment. The Director and division managers are exceptionally helpful and patient. The nurses provide quality medication management. We enjoyed many activities designed for people with brain diseases, and the food was good. This is not a nursing home, but assisted living with a high level of staff involvement for residents. I highly recommend Bayshore.”

“Moved my Mother in recently after her second hospital stay in 6 months. It was a tough decision but, we really had no choice. The team at Bayshore has made the transition fast, smooth, and easy – helping with even the smallest details. We know they care, they keep a positive atmosphere, and the food and facility are top notch. It’s comforting to know Mom is safe and being well cared for. We toured many other facilities in Naples, Ft Myers, and Bonita Springs knowing this would happen at some point…Bayshore was, comprehensively, the best…highly recommend! Make the decision, you’ll be relieved you did.”

After researching homes for my dear wife for a year, I chose Bayshore Memory Care. My homework paid off. She is adjusting well there and I continue to be pleased by the professional, loving care she is receiving. This was the only memory care I visited that I did not feel depressed being there. So many places are very clinical. I wanted a place that could feel more like home. Bayshore has that feel! It is clean, spacious and pleasing to the senses. The staff is experienced and friendly. They are engaging so I don’t feel put off. They truly listen to understand what I am saying as one who is part of the Bayshore team. They have never tried to shut me out. They take a very pragmatic approach to allowing family to be involved. Bayshore does not believe in a one shoe fits all approach. I like that. Yet staff knows what they are doing without being a know it all! Very refreshing! My wife’s doctor is provided by Bayshore and he is outstanding! Activities are engaging and interesting. On one activity, a picture was taken that was sent to me. As is said,”A picture is worth a thousand words”.

Well this picture captured the moment of happiness on my wife’s face which translated into peace for our daughters who needed to know that mom was happy. I cannot put a numeric value to all that my wife and I have experienced because you cannot pay for intrinsic value that I have discovered at Bayshore. My wife is my treasure. I want only the best for her. I am at peace that she is right where she needs to be, And last but not least, the food is a joy to eat. I do not take for granted their tasty, well prepared and presented food. What a blessing!

“After touring several facilities, Bayshore was the best option for us. The location, the facility, the staff, the programs, all fit our needs…now she is doing better than we could’ve ever expected. She participates in more activities than she ever did at home and the staff gives her the extra attention when we request it. The staff is open to our phone calls, texts and emails, which we greatly appreciate.”

Recently, my uncle’s dementia progressed to a level whereby he required a facility transition from assisted living to memory care… after a thorough review of various memory care communities in Naples, we selected Bayshore Memory Care for his residency. His transition has been remarkably seamless as a result of the excellent and professional care provided by the nursing, administrative and support staff.

Importantly, as a new state-of-the-art facility, Bayshore provides a thoughtful, nurturing and calm environment that has been very conducive to my uncle’s successful move to memory care. Many thanks to Alisha and her wonderful and professional staff at Bayshore Memory Care.

It is a very difficult decision to have a loved one move into a memory care unit. My wife, age 73, has had cognitive issues for 5 years and has declined over that time. We have had help in our home for 8 hours a day, 7 days a week for the last two years, but I finally was exhausted by the care needed from me in the remaining 16 hours per day. In late August of 2016 she moved into Bayshore. Our experience has far exceeded my best expectations. She is content and feels very secure…the staff at Bayshore is very compassionate…they have made her feel welcome and comfortable from day one.

There are activities throughout the day and my wife is much more stimulated and active than she has been in two or three years…she is sleeping better than when she was at home and I think it is due to her daily activities providing stimulation that results in her then having a good rest at night… I am very happy with the care my wife is receiving and the support provided to me. I would recommend Bayshore without reservation.
